Background

Phytomannan® is a water soluble fiber that provides many health-promoting benefits because of its ability to form a soft gel when exposed to water. Research indicates that soluble fibers help lower blood cholesterol, slows glucose absorption, lowers the Glycemic index and promotes regular bowel movements. Phytomannan®  is refined from the konjac root (Amorphophallus konjac). Phytomannan®  has an extraordinary water-holding capacity and is the most viscous of all known dietary fibers.

Phytomannan®  creates a feeling of satiety or fullness through its water-binding effects – it absorbs up to 200 times its weight. By creating a thick gel, Phytomannan®  delays gastric emptying and slows the release of sugar into the bloodstream, which helps to lower levels of insulin and blood glucose. Additionally, Phytomannan® improves blood-lipid profiles and can lower systolic blood pressure. Dosage And Preparation

Phytomannan® is high in natural water soluble fiber. It is a good idea to start slowly – 1 or 2 capsules per day to allow your body to adjust. Drink at least 8oz. water with each dosage and drink water regularly throughout the day.

Once your body has adjusted to the additional fiber, take 3 capsules with 8oz. of water 1 hour prior to each meal.

If you are taking other medication allow 1 hour before taking this product. Pregnant or nursing woman or people with prior medical conditions should consult their health care professional prior to taking this or any other health product.
